**Description**:
Public sector specalists Osborne Richardson, partnering with our Local Government client based in Sydney's Western suburbs are seeking an Engagement Events Lead on an initial 7-month contract set to start immediately.
The Engagement Events Lead is tasked with the scoping, planning, designing, and execution of internal events for Council. They will be pivotal in contributing to the creative design of events to align with our Purpose and Ambition.

**Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently manage resources to ensure events are organized within allocated budgets.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance participation in events.
- Foster collaboration and build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
- Provide consultation, advice, and support to working groups to ensure the successful delivery of quality events.
- Maintain the integrity of Council's brand and reputation at all events.
- Prepare and implement risk management plans in accordance with Council's Risk Management Framework.
- Fulfill any other duties as required by the Coordinator or Manager.

Key Requirements:

- Demonstrated experience in event management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of risk management principles.
- Understanding of local government procedures and protocols is advantageous.
