Job Description Summary

Exciting opportunity to join the new Service Stream - Multinet Gas platform project as a Data Migration Lead
About the Role
- Development of a Data Migration Strategy, which shall include a schedule and key tasks associated with the effective migration of all requisite data to Multinet Project new ERP system, IFS and Field Service Management solution from ServiceNow;
- Develop a plan for the cleansing of legacy system data that will be undertaken primarily by the business, including the development of a schedule that ensures that all legacy system data is readied for extraction prior to the first data migration run;
- Oversee the mapping of data objects between Service Streams Infrastructure’s legacy ERP system, GreenTree and other data inputs to IFS and SNOW;
- Develop the data scripts to extract accurate and complete data (with comprehensive exception logging) from Service Streams Infrastructure’s legacy ERP system and other data inputs such as spreadsheets and databases;
- Work with database administrators to co-ordinate production database copies to local sandpit environments;
- Work with the Multinet project team and IFS consulting team to ensure the timely and accurate loading of data into IFS and ServiceNow, addressing errors in source data with relevant business teams as needed;
- In conjunction with the testing team, develop testing methods to ensure that data migration loads are validated and can be signed off by the business as complete and accurate;
- Coach, mentor and help achieve the day to day activities of other Data Migration staff, ensuring that the Data team works closely and collaboratively with all other members of the project team; and
- Generally foster a culture of collaboration and positivity, and one that embraces a “one team” vision encompassing the business, the project team, and IFS consultants.

We are looking for an experienced leader with excellent problem solving and analytical skills who is able to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels.

In addition to the above, we require an individual with:

- Proven experience in performing complex source and target data analysis
- Demonstrated experience in performing complex source and target data analysis
- Demonstrated experience in large, phased data migration projects
- Experience in data analysis as part of the system development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Working knowledge in SQL Server and other relational database systems creating complex queries to extract data, Excel, Oracle, VB Scripting
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Proven team leader skills
- Demonstratable stakeholder management skills
- Experience with ERPs, eg IFS and GreenTree advantageous
- Experience with Field Service Management systems, eg ServiceNow advantageous
