Are you an experienced Structural Engineer or Architect looking to make the move from consultancy into construction? TalentWeb is proud to be working with a leading construction company based in Brisbane who are looking to add a couple of heads to their design management team.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Providing ongoing advice to the construction team, including assisting in resolving project cost and value management issues on the projects;
- Providing advice on the appropriate external design needs of the project;
- Effectively managing the project start-up including design, budget and client related issues to ensure timely design handover to operations staff at site mobilisation;
- Manage design of project through to established handover;
We're looking for people with a solid work ethic and collaborative mindset for this forward thinking construction company. You will have:
- A degree in architecture, civil or structural engineering or building services engineering;
- At least 5 years' experience working in design in Australia;
- Previous experience working on projects of $5M upwards;
- Experience in design coordination and previous experience.
