**About the role**

The Security Advisor role will assist the Senior Security Advisor deliver the operational outcomes of the organisation on behalf of the National Security Manager. You will assist in day-to-day activities related to facilities, information management and clearance processing as well as deliver educational briefings related to Operational Protective Security.

Some duties could include, but not limited to:

- General day to day administration of security tasks
- Support the development of Operational Risk Assessments
- Upkeeping of Protective Security records, registers
- Support the coordination of the Security Clearance processes
- Support the Coordination of staff responding to emergencies and incidents

**About you**

You will have a willingness to initiate and support a positive security culture within Babcock, with a pragmatic approach to security that balances control and risks.

You will have excellent administrative skills, the talent to multitask as well as the ability to communicate well with all levels of internal and external customers.

You will have the willingness to learn and grow your knowledge and skills within the Security team and undertake identified training as required to support the role and your development within the Security Team.

Having completed the DISP Security Officers training course is a bonus but not mandatory to be successful in this role.
