**The Department**

To make SBS Australia's most distinctive media organisation, TV & Online Content is focused on delivering a clear promise to our audiences, inspiring them to seek out different perspectives, and feel a sense of connection, belonging and empowerment through content.

**The Role**

This role is a 12-month contract.

Reporting to the Head of Entertainment and Food, the SBS Food Manager Editor within our TV & Online Content team this role will see you responsible for managing, organising, and producing content across SBS Food digital platforms.

This includes site and social content, product management, innovation, strategy and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to service our SBS Food audience and deliver on the SBS Charter.

**About you**

Ideally, you will have:

- A genuine knowledge and interest in food and lifestyle content. Chefs, restaurants, the Australian food landscape, food trends and storytelling.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar editorial and content management role with a genuine interest and knowledge of SBS Commissioned TV Content and SBS Food.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong editorial, writing and content editing experience.
- Thorough knowledge of digital publishing, social media, and internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Management and curation of social and digital media content plans for SBS Food campaigns and events.
- Experience with implementing new publishing tools and exploring new content formats and styles.
- Adaptability to the changing media environment and agility to manage many content projects.
- Sound understanding of recipe content and food writing.
- This role supports the SBS Commissioning and On Demand short-form video strategy, and so video and production experience is also desirable.
