Team Leader position with one of Australia's largest insurer

**Your new role**
As a Team Leader in the Agri Insurance Underwriting Centre you will be expected to provide day to day support, coaching and guidance to a team of Agri Insurance Underwriters. In this position you will be responsible for providing optimal support to the underwriters of the team whilst they are undertaking their daily duties to align with the company’s Agri product guidelines. To be successful in this position you will be a motivated individual who has experience managing a team. You will possess excellent communication skills, have a strong ability to build rapport and support the team wherever needs arise.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Underwriters with a focus on working together to ensure exceptional service is provided in all interactions
- Allocation of workload and roster of the team
- Monitor team members customer interactions and provide timely feedback to drive continuous improvement in line with SLA’s and KPI’s
- Be the escalation point for consultants
- Demonstrate company values and behaviours
- Assist with the development of the team

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Team/people management experience
- Underwriting/insurance/finance background (desirable)
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders
- Experience managing and coordinating activities of a team
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal (both written and verbal), time management skills, be organised and outcome orientated
- MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel
