**Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**:
Build and nurture relationships with customers, families and your team by encouraging open communication and participation
Support customers with mental health and high physical support needs
Identify, assess and resolve problems using a customer-centred approach
Motivate individuals and create a culture where people want to go the ‘extra mile’
Practise leadership in team meetings, one on ones, modelling and coaching of staff
Proactively train staff to ensure they continue to provide the highest standard of customer outcomes
Budget, prepare and monitor financial systems in line with the NDIS price guide
Take on ad hoc duties, with our customers' quality of life and care at the front of mind.
Administer catheter care and peg feeding

**Given the responsibility of this role, the following essential experience will be required**:

- Proven experience leading and developing a high performing team.
- Develops the team for high performance through providing appropriate guidance and supporting them to resolve their own issues.
- Open to new ideas and ways of thinking and empowers others to explore new approaches to longstanding or emerging problems.
- Encourages a strong customer focus and builds understanding of customers' perspectives within their team.
- Explores and identifies solutions to obstacles which may limit customer potential.
- Communicates in a way that is appropriate for the situation and that promotes the organisational values of being Innovative, Respectful and Brave.
- Demonstrates these values through interactions with teams, such as in one-on-ones with staff and in team meetings.
- Considers business unit and organisational objectives when making decisions and going about their work.
- Prioritises and plans daily, weekly, monthly and annual tasks to achieve customer and team outcomes.
- Experience in supporting, planning and the setup of new services in a residential setting.
- Knowledge of the disability sector, NDIS funding, SIL quotes, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework.

**Essential Compliance requirements**:

- NSW Drivers Licence
- Evidence of compliance with any Public Health Orders applicable at the time - including evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status or medical contraindication certificate if applicable to you.
- NDIS Worker Check
- NSW Working With Children Check
- First Aid and CPR
