**About the Role**

Due to continued growth and expansion of our Finance and Corporate Services team, we have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager to support accounting operations for the Australian and New Zealand businesses.

Reporting to the VP of Finance and Corporate Services, the Accounts Payable Manager will have the ability to work autonomously with mínimal supervision and the leadership capabilities to lead a team of accounts payable officers for our Australian and New Zealand business.

**_Roles and responsibilities will include:_**
- Monitor the workload and manage the allocation of processing for the Accounts Payable Officers to ensure invoices are processed in accordance with agreed time frames.
- Ensure month end reconciliations, payments and reporting are completed within business time frames.
- Monitor accounts payable systems, producing status reports to track trends and issues and then work with the business to resolve.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly targets and reporting is met for the Accounts Payable team.
- Ensure opportunities for continuous improvement of the processes and procedures are identified and realised.
- Provide supervision, leadership, training and support to the Accounts Payable team ensuring cohesive relationships and effective communication is achieved with vendors.

**About You**

You will have extensive experience in managing end-to-end accounts payable processes, will bring new ideas and best practices to our team.

**_Other key attributes essential for this opportunity will be:_**
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in dealing with suppliers and resolving issues timely and with a methodical approach and escalating as required.
- Experience in quality process and improvement techniques and procedures.
- General knowledge of accounting principles and strong understanding of accounts payable.
