Are you wanting a project that’s a bit more interesting than the usual mining / plant scenario? Then this could be the next role you’ve been waiting for

We’re undertaking detailed design and engineering all the way through to approval for construction. You’ll be making valued contributions towards our client’s endeavours to lift ore quality, reduce carbon emissions and maximise asset value.

You may already be in a Design Manager role and wanting a change of scene or a larger team. Perhaps you’re in a Lead / Senior role and have a few years of team supervision under your belt.

Working closely with the Design Office and Engineering Manager, we’ll be asking you to:

- Lead & mentor a large multidisciplinary team of Designers.
- Monitor & allocate hours to schedule, in line with Scope of Works.
- Advise on resource requirements & attend project & client meetings.
- Ensure all relevant procedures are followed - checking, quality, project archiving & CAD-related.
- Keep a close eye on calculation inputs & volume reporting.
- Notify project/s of any personnel or project delivery issues.

**Thrive with us We hope you'll bring**
- Advanced Diploma, Diploma or Associate Degree.
- Proficiency with Bentley MicroStation 2D & 3D.
- Mechanical or structural design experience gained on mineral process plant / mining projects.
- Great interpersonal & influencing skills. Experience leading a team of at least 15.
- A keen eye for detail & a knack for problem-solving.
- Current right to work in Australia.

**We’re also interested in hearing from you if you’ve got experience in Civil / Track / Rail design - for another upcoming major project.**

It’s not essential but would be terrific if you’re familiar with OpenPlant.
