Available is a full/part time medical reception position working for a private specialist paediatric group located inner west of Melbourne CBD. We are seeking an experienced medical receptionist to work within our clinic, providing efficiency, quality of care and clear outlook. Reporting to the Practice Manager, you will be responsible for providing high-quality reception and administrative services to patients, doctors and staff in a supportive and caring manner.

The Person
You are an experienced Medical Receptionist with a strong knowledge of the Halaxy software. Your duties are varied and include:

- Attending to all calls and conveying all messages promptly
- Booking appointments
- Assisting with triage, data management and patient advocacy
- Liaising with patients and families in a caring and compassionate manner
- Liaising with GP's and other health professionals
- Organising bills and payments for patients (Eftpos)
- Prepare and receipt of patient accounts
- Maintaining database systems
- Excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain high levels of professionalism and confidentiality, enjoy working in a team environment and have previous experience in a medical practice are favourable.

The private specialist group brings together a range of experienced paediatric health professionals to offer high-quality, multidisciplinary care to children and their families within a friendly practice.

Ideal location - accessible by public transport - off-street parking available.

This position is available for immediate commencement. Previous experience working within a private medical practice is essential along with high level customer service skills and attention to detail.

**Salary**: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
