**The Role**:
As the Commercial Manager you will be the leader responsible for preparation and analysis of financial models applied across the business in Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the GM of Finance the role is accountable for the following:
- Analysis of new business opportunities
- Commercial optimisation of existing customer contracts
- Compiling the annual plan and evaluating commercial and financial performance against the plan on a weekly basis
- Provide data driven insight into risks and opportunities
- Tender and contract negotiation
- Lead and coach finance and operational teams with preparation and analysis of annual budgets and forecasts
- The role will have a Commercial Analyst as a direct report
**Skills and Experience**:
You are CA/CPA qualified, with a strong depth of experience in a diversified business environment within a Logistics and Supply Chain environment. You have the credibility and presence to provide leadership to a team and engage extensively with non financial stakeholders, while also being able to work independently and objectively. You have outstanding analytical and planning skills, and a well developed commercial acumen. You have an excellent track record of providing sound, well reasoned advice in support of key commercial and strategic decisions. Advanced level Excel skills are critical to your success in the role.
