**Your new Role**:
The primary responsibility of the Manager, Operational services (OMS) is to lead the operational support and business services across site. The role is critical in ensuring efficient, high-quality, cost-effective service delivery that is innovated, responsive to the needs of Beaudesert hospital and consumers.

**Your Key responsibilities include**:
Staffing and budget responsibilities
This role reports operationally to the Nursing and Midwifery Director/Facility Manager, Beaudesert Hospital and / or professionally to the Manager, Operational Services, Logan Hospital and draws discipline support from the respective Corporate Service Managers at Logan Hospital.
14.25 FTE staff report to this position, and additional casual employees.
Manage the operational services labour budget in accordance with financial management practices and delegations.
Manage the recruitment, selection and onboarding of new staff as required.
Manage complaints and issues regarding operational support staff including performance management processes such as absence.

Beaudesert Hospital is a rural hospital in Queensland's Scenic Rim region with a rich history of healthcare that spans more than 120 years. We provide rural healthcare across a large geographic area south-west of Logan and the Gold Coast with patients who see us coming from Undullah in the north-west right down to the southern Queensland border. We offer services to adults and children, including 24-hour emergency care, maternity, mental, dental, allied health and outpatient clinics, minor surgery and palliative care.
We're a smaller hospital that offer hands-on training and support to our staff and students. As a secondary teaching hospital, we also have strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
