**POSITION OVERVIEW**:
**The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the QA Coordinator in the execution of day-to-day site-based quality assurance activities. This role is critical in ensuring quality benchmarks are met, compliance with relevant standards is maintained, and QA systems are being used effectively by site teams. **RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Attend project sites to perform quality inspections and support QA processes.
- Monitor and promote compliance with approved methodologies, ITPs, and contract documents.
- Assist in the review and tracking of subcontractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Support internal QA audits and reporting.
- Help site teams utilise quality assurance platforms and complete documentation correctly.
- Provide feedback from site to support continuous improvement initiatives in QA systems and processes.
- Contribute to the training and onboarding of site staff in QA procedures, as required.

**TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE**:

- Tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- Previous site experience in QA, coordination, or supervision roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Understanding of waterproofing and passive fire protection compliance.
- Familiarity with QA systems and documentation in a commercial construction environment.
- Strong digital literacy, including the ability to navigate QA software and mobile-based inspection platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communicator - both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
