Operations Officer

**About the role**

At Great Southern Bank, our Post Fulfilment team sits in our Lending Operations department. Our team members aspire to be part of something special, where we are known as a great community to be part of.

The Post Fulfilment team manages the Lending process after settlement has been completed through to loan payout and closure. Communicating directly with borrowers, or their agents, we aim to complete customer requests within agreed time frames, following policy and procedures. The team are responsible for enquiries and maintenance on Loan accounts including Product Switches and amendments to Interest Rate Margins. Support is also provided for Release settlements with Loan Payouts and Security releases via PEXA.

As an Operations Officer in the Post Fulfilment Team, you will contribute to the success of the team, performing duties that include:

- Processing Switch Requests and Amendments to Margins on Loans
- Processing Interest Adjustments and requests for copies of Loan Documentation
- Processing payments received to Loan Accounts for Fast Refinances, including calculation of Payout Figures and closing relevant loans, enabling Great Southern Bank to continue to support our customers under agreed performance outcomes

**What we’re looking for**
- Knowledge of the broader Release Settlement process of various states and experience and understanding of PEXA
- Ability to work to time frames for time sensitive matters, and ability to self-manage workloads
- Strong analytical, reasoning and problem resolution skills with the ability to consider and integrate a broad range of factors in structuring and making decisions
- Demonstrated relationship management, consulting, negotiation and facilitation skills
- Commercially minded and self-managed, with the ability to work within the boundaries of compliance and recommend commercially practical solutions
- Sound interpersonal, customer service and communication skills, professionalism, diplomacy
- Strong computer skills and a proven ability to adapt to new computer/system environments
