**About the role**:
System Performance Division is responsible for providing data analytics and business intelligence services to the Department for Education and leads data governance. Within the Division the Strategic Data Initiatives team leads key strategic initiatives that System Performance has ownership of, including providing direct, tailored support to schools and preschools in data collection and use aligned to strategic priorities.

The Site Support Lead works directly with and supports South Australian government schools and preschools to collect and use data effectively for site improvement purposes. As part of a small, highly skilled team, the Site Support Lead supports sites with their specific data collection, analysis and interpretation challenges, and helps to develop system level resources to enhance data capability. This work is achieved through a practical understanding of public education, knowledge of data collection and analysis best practice, excellent relationship management, effective coaching skills, and collaborative problem solving.

**Qualifications**:
**Essential**: Nil

**Desirable**: Recent experience working within the South Australian education system.

**Special conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO7 $108,109 - 116,864 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (12%) and leave loading.
