**The role**

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our Assessing Team as a Desktop F&R Motor Assessor.

The role will involve conducting comprehensive desktop assessments of third-party motor vehicle claims, ensuring optimal financial outcomes for the company while adhering to industry best practices and regulatory compliance.

**Position Accountabilities**
- Assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repair methods, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and company repair methodologies.
- Specialise in assessing post-repair vehicles across a range of accident severity levels.
- Conduct assessments in strict accordance with established settlements, claims, and assessment protocols to meet industry standards.
- Prepare detailed and accurate assessment reports using industry-standard quoting and middleware software, as well as company systems.
- Collaborate effectively with the Fair and Reasonable Assessing team, Settlements, and Recoveries teams to address challenges related to third-party repair costs.
- Take all reasonable directions from leaders to comply with the organisation’s workplace health & safety (WHS) protocols.

**What experience you’ll bring**

**Essential**:

- Trade Qualification: Panel Beating, Spray Painting, Mechanics, or Certificate IV in Motor Vehicle Loss Assessing.
- Experience: Minimum of five years in the motor repair industry.
- Minimum of five years in assessing in the insurance industry.
- Solera Assessing Experience: Proven proficiency with Solera Assessing software.

**Professional Compliance**:

- Thorough understanding of the legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations within the Financial Services Regulation (FSR) environment.
