About the role
The primary responsibility of the Associate Director is to lead accounts on a day to day basis, with mínimal Director support, and effectively contribute to the efficiency of the business. They are also responsible for creating meaningful impact on our client’s businesses and are the interface between Kantar and our clients. The role includes client engagement, consultancy, study design and analysis, driving preparation and delivery of presentations and reports as well as broader business responsibilities including seeking new business, people management and the implementation of broader business initiatives to improve business performance.

What you will be accountable for:
- Reporting to a Director you would be responsible for managing sensory testing and ad hoc research across a number of priority clients and industries
- You’ll be responsible for the management of the entire research process - from building proposals and designing questionnaires to creating bespoke reports and presenting these back to clients
- Previous experience with sensory research and/or product optimisation via central location testing, in-home use tests, sensory qual, trained panels etc. would be ideal, in addition to the desire to seek out the “why”, to find a compelling story with the data and to be commercially minded.
Required skills:
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Sensory, Product Optimisation or NPD Research (quantitative and/or qualitative)
- Ability to analyse data using Q or SPSS
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong quantitative survey design skills
- Strong research reporting skills and PPT template creation
- Ability to work with agility and to tight timelines/deadlines
- Strong Client management; independent decision making on day-to-day projects that meets clients objectives
- Comfortable keeping regular communication with the client on project specifics
- Experience in running multi-market studies
- Other Research experience (e.g., concept testing, ad testing, brand tracking, price and pack analysis, etc.)
