**About the role**

Reporting to Team Leader, Events & Festivals Production, you will:

- Support the Events & Festivals team by providing advice and assistance to Council staff and stakeholders in organising events.
- Aid in the planning, implementation, and delivery of events and festivals.
- Provide administration assistance and coordinate the production of allocated events liaising closely with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Leader of Events & Festivals Production to ensure the delivery of high-quality events on behalf of Council.
- Support the coordination of event related activities in line with Council guidelines.On occasion, work outside standard business hours to complete on-site event delivery.

**About You**

Additionally, you will bring:

- A solid understanding of events and related functions including risk and safety of event delivery.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a diverse client group at all levels, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
- Sensitivity to and awareness of cultural diversity.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- A thorough understanding of protocol requirements.
- Strong ability to relate to and communicate with individuals at all levels within the community.
- Experience in forward planning, setting goals, and achieving them.
- The capability to set priorities and respond proactively to issues within your area of responsibility.
- Experience in event production and management.Class C motor vehicle driver’s licence.

We are offering an attractive remuneration ranging from $85,293.09 to $93,952.69 plus 11.5% superannuation.
