**Our Advisory business**

Just like the world around us, business is evolving, whether it’s through innovative thought, seamless solutions or through the personal attributes of its people. Our Advisory team partners with our clients and provides a deep understanding of their business needs, proactive involvement in the markets and communities we work in, and a commitment to making every day better.

We embrace the fact that people are our greatest asset. It’s our people that set us apart, and who our clients keep coming back to. Passionate and dedicated about what we do and the culture we have developed, we believe that the key to our success is the teamwork and collaboration we have fostered, not only within our Advisory Practice team, but right across the Beca Group.

**The Opportunity**

Now is a great time to join Beca and our Advisory team as the Energy and Water sectors are seeing an increasing demand for planning services across NSW. Combined with our vision and continued growth, Beca is currently seeking a Principal Environmental Planner to play a strategic role in growing our planning capability in NSW to support our Energy and Water markets. The role will ideally be** Sydney** based.

This role will be a project delivery and market facing role. Given your unique knowledge of environmental planning across the energy and water sectors, you will build on existing relationships and develop new ones with key clients (including power transmission, renewable generation and water utilities).

Another facet of the role will be to use your technical and project delivery experience to grow our capability in this area. Our intention is to build a market leading planning team in Sydney, in the meantime you will be supported by our high-performing and dynamic environmental planners in our wider business.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will be an experienced environmental planner, having worked in Energy, Water or a related industry, with proven consulting experience. You are someone who embraces challenges, promotes innovation and leads with a mindset of continual improvement, as well as connecting the Beca network to bring the best of our business to our NSW clients and region.

Being a technical leader and relationship builder, you have the capability to lead projects and project teams and initiate, manage and develop strategic and operational relationships internally and externally to influence and coordinate people and skillsets to effect change to benefit our communities, people and clients.

Furthermore, due to the nature of the projects, it is a requirement that the successful individual will hold relevant tertiary qualifications, and be a Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (REAP).

We have a no fuss 'can do' approach and we are looking for a savvy, innovative and commercially minded professional. It's an exciting time to be part of Beca and this fast paced and diverse role will provide an environment that will challenge and stimulate you and value the contribution you could make to our organisation.
