Horizon Resources is seeking skilled, experienced and passionate technical specialists to join our growing team, working with Clients towards operational excellence. Applications are being sought from the Company’s Brisbane Office.

About Horizon Resources:
Part of the MR Group, Horizon Resources supports the upstream Oil and Gas industry in drilling wells more safely and efficiently by reducing non-productive time and establishing a safe working environment. The MR Group offers an integrated suite of services that includes rig inspection solutions, project management and specialist resourcing, well engineering consultancy services and both accredited and specialist training.

The Position:
Surveyors will work alongside and be supported by the Company’s global technical support teams and be jointly responsible for the provision and delivery of professional third-party inspection services. Applicants must be competent and possess a detailed understanding of current and relevant industry standards, regulatory requirements and industry practices that relate to Client’s operations. Applicants should be willing to conduct technical work in accordance with all applicable regulatory and international industry standards.

Applicants should ideally be trade or degree qualified with a minimum of 10-15 years operational experience which may include both land and/or offshore operations, be willing to travel as required, and possess good communication skills with a keen eye for detail. A good knowledge of the English language, both oral and written as well as computer literacy form important skills as part of the role.
