**About the Role**

Our awesome Operations team at OVO are on the lookout for their next Operations Analyst. Working closely with other areas of the business, in this role you will be responsible for assisting your colleagues with operational functions such as billing, transfers and service order requests, ensuring an optimal customer experience, automation and operational efficiency are at the heart of all that you do. Your hands on experience and willingness to work across all functions actually doing the work will be essential.

As OVO is a start-up, your ability to adapt and take on new challenges outside of your comfort zone or area of expertise coupled with a proven ability to think laterally and innovatively will be key to your success. You will also be someone who can build rapport with customers and work well as part of a team and cross functionally, to develop strong working relationships.

**What will I be doing?**
- Liaising with external stakeholders for transfers, service orders and metering queries;
- Sending out communications to customers impacted by metering and tariff changes;
- Managing exceptions and ticket creations for operational tasks;
- Ensuring customer’s accounts are set up correctly in order to generate statements;
- Ensuring high data accuracy;
- Assisting with customer billing exceptions.

**Ideally you will have**:

- Demonstrable knowledge of business-to-business billing and market transaction processes;
- Experience working in electricity and gas markets, in the eastern states of Australia;
- Knowledge of Service Orders and Transfer related processes;
- Proficient in MSATS, Google sheets and Excel;
- Experience in resolving difficult complaints which includes managing conflict.
