This is an exciting and pivotal time to join the Education Standards Board as we are undergoing a period of rapid expansion as a result of recommendations within the recent Royal Commission into Early Childhood Education. You will enjoy state-of-the art office facilities located in the heart of the Adelaide CBD. If you are eager to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the quality and safety of educational services for young South Australians, the Education Standards Board wants to hear from you.

**About us**

We are the independent statutory authority that regulates early childhood services and registers schools to improve education and care outcomes for children and young people.

Our main functions are:

- approving early childhood services
- assessing and rating early childhood services
- educating and monitoring compliance with the law
- taking regulatory action in the event of non-compliance
- registering schools
- reviewing the registration of schools.

The Education Standards Board is located in the CBD in modern office facilities close to public transport and Rundle Mall.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assessing and rating service quality under the National Quality Framework.
- Providing consistent education and guidance to help regulated parties achieve and maintain compliance with legislative obligations.
