The Strategy and Engagement team within Customer Service Branch supports TMR decision making and strategy development through the provision of data and insights in relation to customer trends, journeys and experiences to support a relevant and sustainable transport business into the future.
In the role of Principal Advisor (Analytics), you will be responsible for the team to build and manage data assets, improve data quality, perform analytics and data interpretation to inform business decisions. You will support data driven decisions through the provision of data, insights and recommendations to stakeholders both within and outside the branch.

**Some of your responsibilities will include**: - Lead and support your team and their work program. Ensure the team are skilled and motivated, whilst fostering a safe working environment. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and performance improvement. Develop, implement and maintain data systems to provide accurate and timely information for business decisions and plans. Analyse information and use data modelling to create dashboards using tools like Tableau and PowerBI. Collaborate with stakeholders to create best fit data solutions, ensuring the data infrastructure is reliable and consistent. Identify issues and request changes when needed. Create predictive analytics and data models to measure efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, while also mitigating risks. Represent the branch, build relationships, and provide expert advice on data management for informed decision-making. - Research emerging trends for efficiency improvements.

**You will need to have**: - Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaboration with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data solutions. - Proficiency in data management, analytics, and the ability to develop and maintain performance measurement and business intelligence solutions is essential. Demonstrated experience in leading teams, particularly technical specialists. Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Tableau and PowerBI- A degree or qualifications in business, economics, information technology and/or data science would be viewed favourably.
