Shared Services Manager

We are currently seeking a Shared Services Manager to join our corporate Accounts team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position leads and manages the Shared Services team, ensuring robust business systems and internal controls are in place to ensure transactions are captured in line with monthly process and J-SOX. This includes delivering professional financial support, analysis and advice to business managers and other employees across Scott Park Group in accordance with Finance policies and accounting standards.

**Key responsibilities include**:
FINANCIAL AND ACCOUNTS MANAGEMENT
- Responsible for the Accounts Payable/Receivable process to ensure transactions are captured in line with the monthly accrual process and in accordance with Australian Accounting Standards. Reviews monthly aged reports for accuracy and timely review of GL reconciliations.
- Responsible for oversight of vehicle fleet.
- Monthly meetings with General Managers and/(or) Chief Operating Officer to drive efficient process of Display Home program in line with internal controls and strategy including forecasting of cash flow requirements for Display Home program.
- Manages day to day cashflow as well as providing cash flow forecasting inputs (transactional - day to day and reconciliation). This includes overview of opening and closing of Corporate Credit Cards and Bank Accounts (as required)( as well as timely review of monthly bank reconciliations.
- Contributes to the development, maintenance and implementation of financial policies, procedures and processes across the business, including provision of financial and systems training.
- Provides suitable financial support, analysis and advice to business managers and other employees in accordance with the Finance policies and standard.

FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE REPORTING
- Liaises with the Group Financial Controller and Financial Analyst to ensure revenue and costs are captured in the correct reporting period and in correct profit/cost centres in line with the monthly cost review process.
- Contributes to the preparation of internal financial reports ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of information as required for Board reporting.

BUSINESS SYSTEMS
- Facilitates continual business process review with operations to identify improvements to ensure all finance related processes are sound and in-line with business rules and best practice.
- Ensures efficient financial systems utilization to deliver management results and metrics.
- Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging and promoting new ideas, process improvements, and technology advancements that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and cost savings within the shared services function.

LEADERSHIP
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the team by providing appropriate training and guidance.
- Promote teamwork, encourage knowledge sharing, and empower team members to deliver excellent customer service.

**To be considered for this position you will need**:

- University degree qualification in Accounting, Commerce or Finance (or equivalent)
- CPA or CA qualification (desirable)
- Considerable financial management experience in a commercial environment
- Demonstrable skills in leading and mentoring a large high performing team in a fast paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) including the ability to influence, build and maintain networks with a range of stakeholders
- Experience in cashflow management, financial analysis, financial reporting systems as well as demonstrated attention to detail
- Excellent computer skills, including the ability to utilize a range of information systems (MS Excel, Databuild desirable, Dynamics 365)

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
