We are on the lookout for a Client Partner to join our team at Carat, Sydney. Leading one of Australia's largest retail and FMCG accounts, this role is an exciting step for an experienced Client Partner who is looking to expand their career, paving a clear pathway to agency lead roles in the future.
What your typical day will look like:
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will lead the day to day media operations for Australia's leading supermarket brand. Working with direct team of 5 and leveraging the expertise of a wider team of 35, your role will see you manage the relationships of key stakeholders both internally and externally, championing first class service across a high value client.
- Contribute to the Media Strategy, Planning and Implementation by feeding relevant client insights to the executive leaders
- Collaborate with the media teams to optimise channel spend and performance
- Lead and identify ways to grow and retain the current client base and share any new business opportunities identified
- Support, communicate and build commitment to the agency’s vision, direction, initiatives etc
- Leadership of account managers/ strategists, executives, and analysts within their client portfolio / vertical
- Ensure team are utilised efficiently to deliver maximum effectiveness for clients
- Work closely with the Managing Director to ensure thorough understanding of client needs to ensure work delivers on business objectives
- Contributes to the delivery of revenue targets through the effective management of resources to deliver to client briefs
- Use market intelligence to present potential new client opportunities to Managing Director
A bit about you:
- Extensively experienced across client service, team leadership, strategy, planning and business growth within the media industry
- Strong understanding of industries in client portfolio, in particular the business challenges faced in market
- People leadership; proven experience in the management and growth of a high performing team within a media or similar agency
- Sound digital performance / media experience and understanding of multi channel strategy and planning
