**ABOUT THE ROLE:
**Summary of the role**:
- The Mercy Health Transformation team provides strategic and specialist support to Executives and Senior Leaders on the development, implementation, planning, and monitoring of workstreams and initiatives designed to deliver transformational change in the way that Mercy Health delivers customer and community outcomes, financial sustainability, operating effectiveness, and the workplace experience for its people.
- The HRIS Test Lead is responsible for providing leadership and testing expertise for the HRIS Transformation Project and associated work streams. The HRIS Test Lead will utilise the agreed project management framework and program governance mechanisms to effectively manage the day-to-day activities and applicable testing resources for the HRIS Transformation project, in addition to documenting and delivering the stated objectives and benefit outcomes. Specifically, the HRIS Test Lead will be responsible for:
- Leadership, coordination, and support of all testing related activities for the new Mercy Health HRIS system and integrated technology landscape, across all phases of the project to support a successful project outcome
- Design the testing strategy in collaboration with Functional/Technical project leads and SMEs
- Develop Test plans/procedures and processes for all testing phases including unit testing, end to-end integration testing, regression testing and user acceptance testing, and including the monitoring and continuous improvement of processes to ensure ongoing effectiveness
- Coordination and set up of applicable test environments required across the technology landscape to support the success of the HRIS solution
- Work closely with Functional/Technical leads and Business SMEs to identify, document and execute the appropriate test cases/scripts, including ensuring traceability to business requirements regardless of project methodology (agile, waterfall or hybrid)
- Recommendation and delivery of strategies for automated testing that will improve the project outcome
- Evaluation and reporting of test results, schedules, resources, and technological risks associated with the testing workstream
- Develop/control procedures and checklists to ensure that all areas of the testing processes are well defined and functioning
- Communication in relation to test execution, defect summary and daily/weekly status reporting as required to all stakeholders
- Monitor and report weekly workstream progress and key testing metrics
- Manage defect tracking to ensure defects are properly recorded and reported, and escalation processes in place for advance warning of potential issues
- Contribute to the post go live support and transition of outstanding workstream activities to the business based on agreed criteria
- Build and maintain key internal and vendor partnership relationships
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Relevant degree in Computing, Project Management and/or Business Management
- Quality certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or similar
- Demonstrated professional experience and project leadership skills in testing for large scale system implementations / ERP solutions
- Full life-cycle implementation experience of Workday (or another HCM platform) will be highly valued, along with Health Industry experience
- A basic understanding of Human Resource processes and procedures
