**The role**

Our Production Assistants are responsible for supporting and contributing to the production of newspapers and printed materials in the publishing area, whilst having regard to timeliness and quality.

Key accountabilities include:

- Maintenance and operation of our publishing equipment
- Completing assigned work activities including production support and basic maintenance tasks
- Working in a safe and efficient manner
- Working effectively as part of a high performance team
- A forklift licence would be of great benifit

You will be required to roll your sleeves up and get involved in any element of cleaning around publishing equipment, sometimes working in confined spaces. Being a print manufacturing facility, you’ll be working with ink, heavy machinery and cleaning materials. Full safety awareness and adherence to procedures is vital in this environment.

**Who are you?**
- Ability to work night shifts between 7pm and 3am
- Flexible and availibility to work weekdays and weekends across a 7 day roster
- Flexibility to do adhoc tasks as required
