**Description**:
Reporting to the Senior Surveyor, the successful applicants will be required to:
Conduct accurate surveys using GPS equipment
Provide setouts, pick-ups and ore mark-ups
Develop Surpac 3D models of pick-ups and mark-ups for accurate reporting
End of month surveys, reconciliations, and associated reports
Monitor pit excavations to ensure compliance to design
Engaging in project work when required to optimise mining efficiencies
**Requirements to be successful in this role are**:
Hold a tertiary qualification in surveying, Cert 4 Diploma with mine site experience;
Previous experience in a surveying team working in an open pit mining environment;
Strong commitment to following health, safety and environment policies and procedures;
Operational experience with Trimble GPS, Total Station, Riegl Scanner equipment and knowledge of associated processing;
Drone mapping experience with processing in Pix4D and Global Mapper;
Strong computer skills, with Surpac, RiMining, RiScan, Pix4D, Global Mapper and MS Office will be highly regarded;
Strong organisational and time management skills;
Ability to communicate clearly with staff on all levels;
Current manual C class drivers’ license
