Our
**Tier 1** Mining Client are searching for an experienced
**Mine Surveyor** for an initial 6-month contract, with potential going fulltime with the client.

This is a FIFO role on an 8:6 roster

**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:
The Clients Christmas Creek Operations Planning team is seeking a highly motivated and technical Surveyor to join the Christmas Creek Survey Team. Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, your focus will be to measure and supply spatial data in a safe, accurate and timely manner to various stakeholders within the Planning team and wider business.

**Key accountabilities will include**:

- Survey of mine development, pits, waste dumps, underground services and other mine infrastructure ensuring timely delivery of data
- Verification of as built surveys against designs utilising GPS, total station, and UAV equipment
- End of month reporting, including surveys, volumes & reconciliations
- Exploration surveys of resource definition, diamond drilling and bore holes both onsite and at remote locations
- Engineering surveys, scans, and control establishment around fixed plant structures and across the greater mine site
- GPS machine calibrations and various other autonomous/machine control system surveys
- Qualifications and skills required:

- Bachelor's degree, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Surveying
- Current WA C-Class manual driver’s license
- Grade 2 Authorised Mine Surveyor or the motivation to obtain Grade 2 Authorisation
- Proficiency in using Trimble GPS, Leica total stations and DJI Multi-Rotor RPAS, with Maptek and Trimble Scanner experience highly desirable
- Proficiency in using Maptek Vulcan, PointStudio, AgiSoft, Excel, with experience in Trimble RealWorks, Starnet, Minestar and Trimble Business Centre desirable
- Experience in engineering surveying is highly desirable
