**Consultant Geriatrician Subacute Ambulatory Clinics - CDAMS, Complex Care and Falls and Balance Clinic**

**About the role**
- Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (3.5 hours per week session per week)
- Complex Care Clinic (7.0 hours per week)
- Falls and Balance clinic (3.5 session per week)

The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment of patients referred to these clinics, as per the attached position description. In addition duties will include attendance at relevant service, craft group and case conference meetings, and supervision of junior medical staff.

Total clinical hours will be 14 hours a week.

The work days required are Mondays and Fridays however depending on the commitments of the respective applicants and requirements of the relevant clinics, days of work can be negotiated.

To be successful in this role you will possess:(examples below)
- Current registration as a consultant Geriatrician with AHPRA
- Fellow Royal Australasian College of Physicians
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the _Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice)_. Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment._
