**The Role**
Reporting to the Assistant Director, the ICT Project Manager is responsible for the management of ICT projects to support the VET Student Loans (VSL) program, in coordination with technical and business teams. The ICT Project Manager develops business requirements to enhance and maintain VSL systems, manages priorities and risk to keep projects on track, advises system stakeholders and delivers project objectives within agreed timeframes and budgets.

**Skills and Capabilities**
We are seeking 3 individuals with the following skills and capabilities:

- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and explain complex problems and work with stakeholders to develop solutions.
- The ability to facilitate and drive stakeholder workshops, meetings and system walk-throughs to elicit and document stakeholder needs and system requirements.
- The ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a team environment.
- Attention to detail in matters of administration, including in adhering to policies and procedures and when undertaking governance or secretariat functions.
- Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines and achieve results.
- Sound judgement, creative thinking and strong problem-solving skills to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- A high attention to detail and a focus on producing quality outputs in a timely manner.
- The ability to be flexible, manage competing tasks and operative effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

**The Opportunity**
This position is available to Ongoing Department of Employment and Workplace Relations and/or APS employees as a temporary transfer at level and/or a temporary performance (Acting) opportunity for a period of 12 months.
