$550 + super per day - 12 month contract - Hybrid/ WFH Options A large NSW state government department is seeking a Project Officer to support and assist the Project Director, working with project teams through project governance and formation to deliver major capital works outcomes. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Support the Senior Project Director (SPD), Project Director (PD) and Assistant Project Director to achieve shared goals, develop effective working relationships and create a customer focused culture. 2. Support the timely provision of accurate project reporting, including cash flows, program milestones, and critical ministerial reporting. 3. Ensure compliance of the project team with SINSW systems, tools and processes. 4. Support the management, monitoring and evaluation of projects using program management tracking and monitoring systems, guidelines, policies, and processes. 5. Provide input into project communications, briefs, project plans and risk management plans for individual projects. Prepare information promptly to suit NSW Government briefing and communication requirements. Tailor information to suit relevant audiences to communicate complex information clearly. 6. Support PDs and APDs to identify the correct statutory planning approval pathway for individual projects and programs, including consultation with relevant statutory authorities. 7. Support PDs and APDs to manage external Project Manager and Cost Manager to ensure contractual obligations are met by service providers, design teams and building contractors. **Selection criteria**: - Relevant tertiary and/or post graduate qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or related fields. - Relevant project planning and delivery experience, preferably gained in a large, complex work environment. - Proven experience in the successful delivery of construction projects to a value of more than $5 million. - Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to clearly communicate information. - Excellent interpersonal skills, including demonstrated ability to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders. **_ _** **_If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW_** - Applications received after the due date may be considered for similar roles._ - "Indigeco Acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and Recognise our Brothers & Sisters Connection to Land, Waters and Community.
