**About the Role**

As the Concierge, you will be responsible for providing accurate information about Melbourne and surrounding areas, the facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne, in-house functions, transportation and leisure activities. Whilst providing an excellent and consistent level of service to our customers in accordance with Hyatt International’s brand standards.

**Some of the responsibilities include**
- To ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Concierge Desk on a day to day basis.
- To be fully conversant with all services, facilities and functions within the hotel.
- To be fully aware of all activities within the Hotel on a day to day basis.
- To be responsible for the up-selling and cross-selling of Hyatt Loyalty Programs and all facilities at Park Hyatt Melbourne.
- To handle guest enquiries and requests via e mail, phone and in person and to have a thorough and up to date knowledge of Melbourne city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas.
- Assist Front Office with basic functions

**Qualifications**:

- Previous work experience in a similar fast-paced hotel operations environment
- Excellent knowledge of Melbourne and its city, entertainment, attractions, activities, dining and its surrounding areas
- Superior customer service skills along with excellent service resolution skills
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure and possess great attention to detail
- An ability to create a positive first impression with an understanding of the importance of 5 star grooming standards
- The flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including public holidays
