Main Purpose

Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Expert will play a pivotal role in ensuring that quality assurance processes are seamlessly integrated and adhered to throughout the product/s asset lifecycle. They will work closely with project teams to establish and enforce rigorous quality standards, conduct thorough reviews of software deliverables, and identify opportunities for process improvement and value engineering. By championing a culture of quality excellence, the SQA Expert will contribute to the successful implementation of the project's end to end software systems, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and security.

Main Responsabilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures primarily for the C-SOC, AIS and SPMS system and other system software, ensuring adherence to contractual requirements, industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, cybersecurity experts, and system architects to define testing strategies and requirements.
- Perform API development as needed for the business.
- Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate the functionality, performance, and security of the software.
- Conduct thorough security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust cybersecurity measures are in place.
- Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing to verify software changes and enhancements.
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Document test procedures, results, and findings, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and regulatory requirements related to cybersecurity and software quality assurance.
- Produce relevant documentation including management plans, specifications, test plans and test cases

Any other appropriate duties as required by management.

Work/Job Experience Requirements
- Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on cybersecurity or asset information systems.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and QA best practices.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools, vulnerability scanning tools, and security testing frameworks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, protocols, and techniques, including encryption, authentication, and access control.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications to perform the job role.

Educational Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Engineering or B.Sc./M.Sc. with Physics / Electronics/ Power Supply / Computer Science

Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript)
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
- Familiarity with databases and SQL
- Ability to create and execute test cases
- Knowledge of test automation principles
- Competence in using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, HTTP)
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
