**The role**
We are currently recruiting for one of the market dominating players within the Engineering Plastics field for a Graduate position to be based in Melbourne to progress into a technical sales position, which will be on-the road, developing business and sales through existing and new clients.
You'll initially begin in an internal sales role, learning about the technical products and getting to know the customers, full training will be provided.
With mentoring and coaching from the leader in the business, you'll be guided into an external sales position where you'll be visiting customers who include Fabricators, Engineering workshops and also end user customers in Automotive, Manufacturing and Construction.
You’ll also develop new business and expand the client base. Using your technical aptitude and strong people skills, you will provide solutions to clients, negotiate pricing, chase projects, and ensure the company is the first supplier in mind for customers.
You’ll pop to the office a few times a week to interact with the team and liaise with the Product Manager.
You will be fully supported in this new role by the Product Manager and comprehensive product training will be provided.
**About you**
As this is a graduate role, no sales experience is necessary. You'll be a Graduate who has studied a related industry, Engineering, Manufacturing or perhaps something related to Sales. You'll be eager to go into a career in sales and have a positive, energetic nature and willingness to learn from the ground up.
