**Groundwater Agreement Advisor** to join our team.
**The Role**
**Reporting to the Team Lead Groundwater Agreements**, the Groundwater Agreements Advisor will assist as part of a team to plan, implement & ensure compliance with Arrow's make good strategy & obligations to ensure Arrow meets its statutory obligations for managing impacts to landholder bores as a result of CSG extraction.
This is a Brisbane based position and may require occasional travel to our field operations within QLD as required, with plenty of notice.
**In addition you will**:
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to consistently role model Arrow’s values, code of conduct, safety and the environment.
- Establish positive and productive working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Model inclusive behaviours to create a safey environment where different views and perspectives are encouraged and valued.
- Develop a records management system to ensure Arrow can track and demonstrate compliance with the make good obligations in Chapter 3 of the Water Act 2000.
- Draft make good agreements in accordance with legislative requirements and Arrow's Make Good Strategy.
- Negotiate Make good agreements with landholders or their legal representation in accordance with Chapter 3 of the Water Act 2000, Arrow's make good strategy and other legislative requirements.
- Coordinate the timing and delivery of bore assessments reports to landholders and key terms to ensure Arrow meets statutory timeframes as prescribed under the Water Act 2000.
- Track executed make good agreements and deviations from template agreements, delivery of make good payments and reimbursements under make good agreements.
**About You**
You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to contribute to a high performing-team with a second-to-none focus on safety and integrity.
**To be considered for this role, you will ideally have**:
- Relevant university degree (commerce, law, engineering, business) or other professional qualification;
- Proven experience conducting negotiations and drafting agreements in accordance with legislation or frameworks;
- Exposure to safety management systems/Safe Systems of Work;
- Proven success in implementing quality control procedures;
- Knowledge of water bore construction & infrastructure is desirable but not essential;
- Knowledge of the Water Act/P&G Act would be advantageous but not essential.
