**About the Business Unit**:
Redress Design and Delivery (RDD) is responsible for administering two redress schemes that acknowledge past harm, provide a range of support options for individuals who have experienced harm, and operate independently from the organisation responsible for causing the harm. It provides high-quality strategic policy advice, and is responsible for administration and delivery of frontline services.
The RDD business unit administers the schemes via 'scheme based teams.' Each team consists of a Senior Manager, Team Leader, Principal Consultant, Senior Consultants, Senior Assessors and support staff. The Strategy and Operations team provide policy, compliance, monitoring and business support across all two schemes.
RDD is currently responsible for the following Redress Schemes:
- ; Delivering a redress scheme for Fiskville affected persons in response to recommendations from the 2016 Inquiry into the Fiskville Training College Final Report. The scheme provides financial redress, which acknowledges past harm and offers financial and non-financial support.
**About the Role**:
Some of your duties will include:
- Supporting the manager to supervise, support and guide a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, accurate, consistent, and timely assessment recommendations and case management in accordance with key parameters and policy expectations of the scheme
- Being accountable for the progression, timeliness, and quality of assessments and case management to ensure compliance with performance standards, operational policies, and procedures
- Supporting the development of the assessors and case managers in collaboration with the manager, ensuring you identify and address skill gaps while utilising areas of expertise.

**About You**:
- A strong ability to motivate and mentor staff, develop and empower them to accomplish tasks, while effectively managing resources to achieve quality outcomes in accordance with performance standards
- Significant experience in providing victim-centric case management to vulnerable individuals, with specialist knowledge in allied health, or working with victims of crime, abuse, sexual violence, and/or mental health
- A potent ability to analyse and critically evaluate complex information to establish a strong written evidentiary basis for an assessed recommendation
- Qualifications/Requirements:_

- A qualification or relevant experience in one or more of the following areas: law, equal opportunity, criminal justice, social policy or health
- Previous experience in supervising and developing staff, and a commitment to working collaboratively and promoting a positive team culture.
