- **$37.74 per hour + super
- **4-month Contract Role
Our client is a large NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Property Officer - Insurance Claims to join their team.

The role is part of a team that is responsible for delivering high quality, consistent and timely property related services that are consistent with NSWTG’s customer experience statement. The Property Officer - Insurance Claims will independently manage motor vehicle and personal contents insurance claims and provide a supporting role to the Senior Property Officer - Insurance Claims.

**Key Responsibilities:
- Assist NSWTG’s customers in lodging motor vehicle and personal contents insurance claims and overseeing progress of the claim to completion.
- Assist customers with limited insurance knowledge to understand insurance claims to ensure the best claims outcome for the customer.
- Escalate more complex matters to the Principal Property Officer within the team.
- Utilise and update NSWTG’s databases and Customer files.
- Attend to phones on a phone roster and as required.

**Selection Criteria:
- Proven experience in motor vehicle and contents insurance claims.
- Proven experience in coordinating and managing a high-volume caseload ensuring deadlines are met.
- Capacity to manage and communicate with insurance companies and other external service providers relating to the insurance claim.
- Ability to identify areas of risk and implement actions to mitigate risk in consultation with relevant parties.
- Understanding or willingness to learn NSW Government and NSWTG’s key services and customer base.
- Ability to maintain sensitivity, discretion and a professional manner in all dealings with customers and internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
