Join a care focused Federal Government Department in the Procurement and Corporate Services branch located in Braddon. Your role will include team leadership responsibilities and managing team workflows.

**Your new role**

Where required, your role will coordinate and assist in the strategic planning, program and project management and policy development that support the department.

You will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts and procurement activities including:

- Leading a small team including maintaining the integrity and quality of corporate data from a variety of systems.
- Maintaining reporting/data management tools and systems.
- Working collaboratively to develop a suitable solution to complex issues based on available data.
- Designing and delivering training and support materials to internal clients.
- Acting as a central point of contact to resolve systems issues between the Agency and third parties.
- Providing content, advice, and support for Departments regulatory and legislative reporting requirements.
- Developing a suite of corporate reporting tools to support branch reporting.
- Providing support to compliance reporting and ensuring procurement activities are conducted in line with legislative requirements, the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs) and the departments outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated experience cultivating stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Demonstrated government procurement experience
- Exposure to compliance reporting
- Leadership skills at APS 6 work level standard
- Personal qualities including adaptability, high levels of productivity, time-management and planning skills

**What you'll get in return**

This is an hourly rate contract role for an initial period of 12 months with the option to extend. Contracting rates are offered at $60 + super per hour.
