**The company**
Our client offers specialist superannuation and SMSF services to its customers, helping them to use their SMSF effectively as a retirement saving structure. Their market leading experts provide education and training resources, technical support, solution services, and compliance administration strategies.

**The role**
Reporting to the Financial Controller, there is an opportunity for a full-time Accounts Payable/Payroll Officer to join this dynamic and growing business. You will be responsible for processing end-to-end payroll and some accounts payable. Efficient and accurate administration, data entry, reconciliations and reporting are an imperative part of this role.

Your duties and responsibilities may include:

- Accounts payable, including management of finance tickets, processing a high volume of complex transactions and workflow
- Manage the end-to-end payroll function, including processing of payroll, payroll journals and other payroll tasks.
- Process payments for creditors and undertake bank reconciliations and process corporate cards and employee expense claims.
- Assist in the completion of month end accounting tasks, including prepayments and accruals, in accordance with month end deadline.
- Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed assets register, including monthly journals.
- Maintain petty cash, ensuring tax receipt obtained and cash balances.
- Assist the Finance team in any other adhoc tasks as and when required.

**About you**
To be considered for this role, you must have experience with end-to-end payroll, as well as accounts payable. You will also have:

- Intermediate Excel skills with a working knowledge of formulas.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Highly developed interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to verify information for accuracy and relevance.
- Tertiary qualifications appropriate to the role.
