**Week One - Monday - Friday, 9am to 5pm at our Wyong Office**

**Week Two - Monday - Thursday, 5 pm to 10 pm plus on-call, working from home**

Breaking Barriers Disability Services is a NDIS Registered Provider based on the Central Coast servicing all areas from Sydney, the Central Coast and the Mid North Coast. We pride ourselves on providing person centered supports to our Participants through Community Access, In Home Supports, Social Supports, Coordination of Supports, Supported Independent Living and Community Nursing.

Our Programs are tailored to provide people living with disabilities and their families, services to help them live safely and comfortably at home while actively enjoying their local Community.

Due to organisational growth, we are seeking to employ a Roster and On Call Clerk to assist our Rostering and Leadership Team. Please note the position will be on a fortnightly roster with week one duties being performed at our Head Office located at Wyong and the second week’s duties ‘working from home.’

You will be expected to:

- coordinate and optimize our available employees by utilising rostering and planning software
- determine the most suitable employees by allocating staff with appropriate skills sets to best meet our participants’ needs
- generate, maintain and distribute rosters
- respond to roster changes by adjusting schedules and communicating this to all stakeholders daily
- ensure hours worked are monitored each pay cycle to ensure employees are working within award conditions and ensure that correct costing is applied
- respond to and manage employee queries regarding their rosters
- Maintain the staff after hours on call phone line for four evenings a fortnight (all relevant allowances and payrates will be applied in accordance with Award requirements)

1. Experience and/or knowledge of the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS)

2. Demonstrated Rostering experience

3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work in a fast paced environment

4. A commitment to the values of dignity, respect, inclusion, empowerment, confidentiality, privacy and strength-based practice;
5. Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated commitment to provide a high level of customer service to a wide range of staff contacts from external organisations and the wider community

6. Demonstrated understanding and / or ability to use the Microsoft Office Suite

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $34.00 per hour
