This is a permanent full-time position, based in Melbourne's South with flexible working from home arrangements.

**The Finance Business Partner (Sales)**

**You will business partner with the Commercial Director and the broader Sales team, driving performance across all areas by providing**

**accurate and timely insights that enable the team to effectively manage all areas of sales.**

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide ongoing business partnering to enable Sales to achieve financial and operational targets.
- Play a key role in the month end close process.
- Investigate and report on variances to forecast by customer and SKU.
- Prepare the monthly forecast for Sales, working with the sales team to ensure appropriate sign off
- Develop and/or implement necessary processes to support internal forecasting/reporting requirements.
- Provide financial support for sales initiatives, including allocation, tracking and reporting.
- Play a key role in the preparation and compilation of the AOP (Annual Operating Plan).
- Work with the Commercial Director on the implementation of a longer term growth plan.
- Provide financial support for the S&OP process.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested.
- Active involvement and participation in plant LOC activities.

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- A Degree in Finance and a professional accounting qualification (CA or CPA)
- Minimum 3 years general business and financial experience
- Experience in operations, manufacturing or related industry preferred
- Experience with financial modelling
- Reporting: proven ability to consolidate complex information into usable customer oriented formats
