**Job Description**:
As the Finance Business Partner for two of our Business Units, you'll be the Finance lead supporting the BU leadership teams to ensure that the business meets both its short term and long term financial objectives. Operating as part of the Global Finance team for a FTSE-50 listed organization with ~$5bn revenue, you will have ownership across the monthly reporting / forecasting processes and annual budget cycle, while providing ongoing guidance and analysis to support the financial performance of the business. You will have excellent core finance skills, strong financial systems experience and an ability to provide proactive commercial finance support to different functional teams and leaders.

The opportunity is a **fixed term 6-month contract**, but as part of a dynamic and fast-moving business and a large global organization, there is good potential to position yourself for future permanent opportunities that may arise.

**What you’ll need to bring to the party**
- ** Strong core financial skills across financial analysis, accounting, finance systems and processes**:

- Refined internal relationship skills across both the business and finance teams
- ** Strong commercial and analytical skills **and the ability to clearly present financial information
- An ability to work independently and proactively, demonstrating **intellectual curiosity** and a focus on continuous improvement of processes

**What you’ll be doing**
- **Finance P&L ownership** across month end actuals, monthly forecasting and the annual budget for your respective Business Units
- Coaching and supporting a Malaysia based revenue analyst, including review of key activities across revenue, costs and sale commission
- Providing **regular and proactive finance support to the Business Unit GM** and their leadership team to support achievement of financial objectives
- Proactively **driving process improvements** across key finance processes including revenue and KPI reporting
- Ensuring the **integrity of financial reporting**, including accountability and oversight of key balance sheet accounts
- Commercial finance support including pricing and contracting, along with ad hoc financial analysis
- Ownership of the sales commission process, including management of targets and adherence to local and regional approval process
- Acting as the key point of contact for the Global BU Finance teams

**Qualifications**:
**More about you**
- ** Qualified CA or CPA with minimum 4+ years post qualified experience**:

- Recent experience in commercial finance roles, with ownership for financial reporting, forecasting and end to end financial management of a Business Unit
- A strong focus on ensuring the integrity and reliability of all financial information
- Demonstrated finance systems skills including ability to upskill quickly onto new systems. Experience of Oracle, Hyperion and Smartview is advantageous
- A genuine ‘team player’ with an ability to work effectively and collaboratively within both the finance team and the
- Strong excel and modelling / analysis skills
- Proven credentials in working closely with senior business stakeholders
- Strong accounting fundamentals, with an ability to and to drive improvements to the underlying processes that support the monthly reporting processes
