About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated HSE Approvals Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will support the delivery of environmental regulatory approvals and permits, conduct environment reviews, and manage plans of operations and estimated rehabilitation costs. You will also advocate for positive environmental legislation, policy, and statutory settings, ensuring the business stays updated on relevant changes.
Key Responsibilities:

- Regulatory Approvals: Support the delivery of environmental regulatory approvals and permits, environment reviews, and plan of operations.
- Compliance Improvement: Identify, recommend, and implement efficiencies in the administration of regulatory approvals.
- Stakeholder Support: Provide support and advice to internal and external stakeholders, promoting environmental awareness and compliance.
- Collaboration: Work with industry peers to share best practices and address common issues.
- Legislation Monitoring: Keep the business updated on changes to environmental regulations, legislation, policy, and guidelines.
- Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Your Experience:

- Educational Background: A degree in Environmental Science, Planning, Law, or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years in a role dealing with Environmental Statutory approvals in the resources sector.
- Legislation Knowledge: Understanding of State and Federal environmental legislation and policies, and international standards relating to impact assessment.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Team Player: Ability to understand project requirements and deliver innovative and sustainable solutions.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement.
- Collaboration and Negotiation: Outstanding skills in collaboration, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, and influencing.
