**About the role**:

- Sound knowledge, skill and experience in health and safety, in particular critical risk reduction both in yard management and on-road, traffic management and transport safety
- Minimum of 3 years working in an operational FMCG distribution centre, manufacturing or automated environment
- Proven record of achieving results and leading change within a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Clear demonstration of ability to incorporate safety requirements while considering commercially viable and practical solutions
- Proven capability in developing safety plans & strategies that are aligned to business objectives.

**About you and your skills**:
We’re looking for an experienced Transport Safety professional ideally who has experience in a developing environment with the ability to set up process, you will also have:

- A Safety Degree/related discipline and/or Risk Compliance degree or related discipline
- Experience managing transport regulatory compliance
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building capabilities
- Exceptional coaching, analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to hold self and others accountable to raise the transport safety standards
- The ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of team members and senior states leaders
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with strong attention to detail
- A proven ability with safety reporting and evaluating compliance to transform insights into frontline safety initiatives to address risk
- Experience conducting driver debriefs for cycles of continuous improvement (optional).
