The Business

The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join the Retirement Assets team on a full-time basis. You will work closely with Finance Services and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely and accurate recording of village management and development settlements and financial transactions for the Retirement Living asset portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager for Retirement Assets, your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Settlement processing - settlement calculations, confirm all settlement financial matters in our Legal Online system, general correspondence with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to contracts administrators, conveyancers, sales managers, upgrade teams and within the Settlements team.- Settlement journals processing.- BAS reviews.- Balance sheet reconciliations.- Liaise and provide support to our Internal Legal team, Village Managers, Regional Finance and Shared Services.

About you:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications which include CA or CPA qualifications. At least 3 years’ experience in contract administration, financial reporting, financial planning & analytics, or a related field.- Fundamental knowledge of general accounting and financial reporting.- Ability to build cooperative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders- Strong analytical and communication skills.- Ability to interpret financial information.
