We are a dynamic Christ-focused organisation providing a range of accommodation, care, and wellness services to people within our community. Based in Waratah (Newcastle), accommodation choices range from independent living at our Maroba Terrace units through to full care (including dementia, Alzheimer’s and palliative care).

We are currently seeking to recruit** **permanent part time and casual Social Engagement Officers** **to join our dedicated team. You will be involved in the planning, design and delivery of leisure and recreational activities to enhance the psychological, spiritual, social and emotional wellbeing of Maroba residents. If you are passionate about aged care and making a difference in the lives of others, we want to hear from you

**What are we looking for?**
- A big heart with genuine passion for care
- Commitment to working as part of a team
- Ability to work hard and to care safely
- Experience in the aged care industry Social Engagement programs is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to think creativity and implement a variety of engaging actives
- Certificate in Leisure & Lifestyle and a Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent is desirable
