Maroba is a dynamic Christ-focused organisation providing an exciting range of accommodation, care, and services to people within our community. Based in Waratah (Newcastle), accommodation choices range from independent living at our Maroba Terrace units through to full care (including dementia, Alzheimer’s and palliative care) at both Maroba Lodge and Maroba Manor.
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Do you have a knack for social media, event planning, and marketing? Maroba Aged Care is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Social Media, Events, and Marketing Coordinator for between six - eight hours per week.
At Maroba Aged Care, we believe in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and we are looking for someone who shares our values and vision. This part-time opportunity is perfect for a student or anyone seeking a fulfilling role with heart.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement social media strategies to engage with our community and promote our services.
- Assist with planning and execution of events that enhance the employee and resident experience and foster a sense of community.
- Create marketing materials and campaigns to raise awareness of Maroba Aged Care and attract potential residents and their families.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all channels.
**Requirements**:
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Creativity and a passion for social media, event planning, and marketing.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous experience in social media management, event coordination, or marketing is preferred but not required.
- A genuine interest in making a positive impact in the lives of older adults.
