A leading Melbourne based global industrial automation company is looking for an Engineering Manager. This critical role in the business involves leading a diverse team of engineers working on cutting-edge automation solutions, including Mechatronics, Mechanical, Robotics, Automation, Electrical, and Systems Engineering.

As the Engineering Manager, you will focus on project and program management, ensuring successful delivery of automation solutions. The role will not involve design reviews but will require strong leadership in managing people and stakeholders, driving the execution of complex projects, and ensuring alignment across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring high performance and collaboration.
- Oversee the management and delivery of automation-related projects and programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership, ensuring the successful execution of automation solutions in line with business goals.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Required Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in managing engineering teams, with a focus on people management and stakeholder engagement.
- A strong background in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in product development environments, particularly in automation solutions.
- Proven experience in project and program management, handling complex engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
