**The Position**

Genus Industrial Services are seeking an experienced Procurement and Logistics Officer to join our team in Kwinana, and coordinate the day-to-day procurement and logistics activities on our new Battery Storage facility project.
- **Perth based + home every night**:

- **54 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 11 hours, Friday 10 hours.**:

**Scope of work**
- Coordinate the day-to-day procurement and logistics of cost-effective materials for the project.
- Monitor the receipt of goods, including verification, inspection, and documentation to ensure quality requirements are met.
- Identify and evaluate risks, and implement mitigation control measures.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

**Essential requirements**
- Degree qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or extensive experience in related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Demonstrated experience in Packages Procurement, purchasing, logistics and establishing effective procurement processes in a project environment.
- OHS Construction Induction ‘White Card’.
- Current WA Drivers Licence.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High level commercial expertise and experience in contract management.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Advanced computer literacy skills including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, and other programs relevant to this position.
